This is a reminder that all current and new bus students must register by July 31, 2016.
This past October all Nanaimo Ladysmith Public Schools bus riders were required to have a Z-Pass card in order to ride both the morning and afternoon bus. That practice will continue for the 2016-17 school year.
Bus passes will be printed and distributed to the schools indicated on the registration form and will be available for pick up when the school re-opens this August. Once received, students must produce and scan their pass daily upon entry and exit of the bus for both morning and afternoon routes.

The Z-Pass system enables the district to track each bus student in real time. Should there be any issues with bus service, or your child missed their stop, we can quickly inform the parents or guardians. Further safety features include instant access to the student’s name, emergency contact and medical alerts. Parents will also have the ability to receive emails or text messages when your child has scanned their card.
If you have any questions contact the Transportation Department at (250) 741-5214 or email FA-DispatchCoordinator@sd68.bc.ca
Sincerely, David Prevost
