Grad photos will be held November 19 – 23 in Room 209. Sign-up for your photo session as soon as possible. Appointment sign-up details are available in the Main Office and Counselling Office. Please have your grad photo taken even if you don’t plan on purchasing photos. We want to see you in the Yearbook!

All students who have completed and returned the permission for the rapidly approaching Field Trip to the NRGH on Wednesday October 17 at 8:30 sharp, for involvement in the P.A.R.T.Y. (Preventing Alcohol Related Trauma in Youth) Program, will be preparing for it this it week. We will be filling out pre-event questionaires, viewing some short videos and having discussions around the topics to be covered on the field trip.
Remember eat breakfast, layer clothing as we will be outside and inside the hospital, and ensure footwear is adequate for walking quietly between wards.

CAREER EDUCATION 9
The delivery of Career Education 9 at Barsby will be done outside the curriculum. This will take place over a few afternoon sessions, where all Grade 9 students will be brought together for a series of workshop. We are looking at one before The Winter Holiday Break and three after the Break. Ms. Moslin will be coordinating these and be responsible for student assessment. Google Classroom will be used to receive and guide CE students to the course completion and prepare them for Career Life Education 10. Your Grade 10 year is the beginning of you graduation program. More information will follow.
Also look for the slide presentation on the New Graduation Program of 2018 on our Thursday night from 4 – 6 at our Parent Teacher conferences.
