Football Practice Today at 3…Dawghouse will be open at 2:56. See you all there!  A huge congratulations to the John Barsby Track and Field team on their success at Provincials this weekend. All of our athletes had incredible performances and represented John Barsby well. Students won the gold in Sr Boys hammer, bronze in Sr Boys Pole Vault and silver in the Jr Boys 1500 meter race and the bronze in the 3000 meter race. Barsby Athletes rounded out our top 5 finishes by taking 5th place I. Both there Grade 8 bus 1500 meter and 3000 meter races. Congratulations to all of our athletes. Way to go Dawgs! John Barsby's Queer Strait Alliance (QSA) continues today. Join us at lunch in Room 111. QSA is a safe and inclusive place for queer youth and their allies to be themselves. Everyone is welcome and QSA will continue on Mondays at lunch. Please note the location change for QSA…meetings will now be in Room 111 from now on. Today, at lunch, the Barsby Leadership team will be a meeting in Room 236. Everyone is welcome to attend and help to make Barsby a better place. See you there! Emergency First Aid with CPR Level C & AED This First Aid course is being offered here at John Barsby on Wednesday, June 26 from 8:30-4:30…Student Cost is $80. Please register with the front office by June 12th. Attention bus students….if you will be taking the school bus next school year, you will need to re-register as soon as possible. Registration can be done through the School District 68 website.
